C. Raymond Hunt Associates, a Boston based naval architecture firm, and Hunt/Railton International, an engineering/consulting firm in Oregon, are partners in this collaboration. Established in 1987, Hunt/Railton International, Inc. offers a wide range of product, consulting and technical support services, including design, engineering and total project management. Specialized programs, utilizing the latest appropriate materials and techniques, are created to generate effective use of client resources. With the many years of cumulative marine experience of its principals, H/RI is exceptionally well-qualified in these areas, and has achieved an excellent track record in supporting clients with unusual requirements. C. Raymond Hunt Associates is renowned for its distinguished, elegant motor and sailing yachts and uncompromising work boat and military designs.

Founded by the late C. Raymond Hunt, this office is well known for the original development of the deep-V hull. Mr. Hunt's innovative hull design represented a unique breakthrough for fast vessel performance in difficult sea conditions. Outstanding rough water capabilities and sea keeping qualities have made the deep-V hull a high-performance standard for the industry.

Contemporary developments of the deep-V concept, based on extensive experience, are selectively incorporated into current designs that include high performance commercial, patrol and pilot vessels. Individualized designs are developed for custom and production sail and motor yachts. The firm continues to position itself an innovative leader by the application of the deep-V hull to larger power boats and the diversity of designs.
